Organized by Guangzhou Yuexiu Exhibition Co., Ltd,
the
Tea Expo (Guangzhou) 2006 was successfully closed on the
27th November. From 23rd to 27th, the exposition has totally
attracted about 80,000 visitors. Among those, 26% of the
visitors come from the other regions apart from Guangzhou;
some of them also come from Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam and
Russia, making the tea expo an international event instead
of a regional tea fair only.
The biggest exposition
According to the statistics, almost 600 booths with
a
full range of tea-related exhibits, from premium teas, tea
sets, to tea packaging materials and more, were displayed
in a superior fairground of 40,000 square meters, and around
500 tea experts, retailers, wholesalers, importers &
exporters, who are from famous tea-producing provinces and
cities in mainland China, like Yunnan, Menghai, Wuyishan,
Chaozhou, and so on participated in the exposition, offering
visitors various choices for the tea and the tea products
in good quality and at favourable prices. Whatever is the
exhibition scale, the output of the visitors, the amount
of deal orders, or the popularity in the society, the tea
expo has achieved better records than other tea fairs, so
it is regarded as the largest tea show of its kind in China.
Wonderful theme activities
The tea expo held in the Continental Center
Pazhou

activities, which were highly appreciated by the visitors,

the "Free Tea Tasting", for example, it attracted
about 10,000 people to gather in the open square to taste
the free teas from renowned tea industries. Featuring wonderfulness
